Board Committees
The DUG Governing Board is comprised of three working committees focused on serving the membership in the areas of Conference Planning, Client Advocacy, and Member Relations. Their responsibilities are summarized below.
Conference Planning Committee (CPC)
The Conference Planning Committee organizes and directs the Annual Conference. They seek volunteers to assist in preparations, session presentations, etc. CPC oversees the Track Teams and facilitates communications among members, the teams, and Datatel. Client Advocacy Council (CAC)
The Client Advocacy Council promotes member interests and collaborates with Datatel on mutually beneficial solutions with a focus on technology, products, and services. CAC oversees Client Advisory Teams (CAT’s) and facilitates communications among members, the teams, and Datatel. Member Relations Committee (MRC)
The Member Relations Committee facilitates communication among the membership, welcomes new members, and promotes the growth and success of Regional Conferences. MRC seeks volunteer recruitment and recognizes outstanding members with the SHINE award. Nominations and the Board Election are coordinated by the Nominations Committee, a subcommittee appointed by the Governing Board.
